Apprenticeship Requirements Built Around Workforce Participation

HVAC Apprenticeship pathways are designed for individuals working within the heating and cooling industry while completing structured apprenticeship training requirements.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must Work within the HVAC industry
  • Must have a sponsoring employer or qualifying placement opportunity
  • Must be physically capable of performing HVAC-related work
  • Must be able to attend evening classes
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English for workplace and safety purposes
  • Must complete classroom instruction and documented on-the-job training requirements

Additional Guidance:

Individuals with little or no HVAC experience may benefit from beginning with the Pre-Apprenticeship pathway before entering Registered Apprenticeship.
